With over 18 years’ experience, I’ve worked with all kinds of businesses — from consultants and coaches to chefs, creatives and health professionals — helping them create brands that feel right and attract the right people.
Big agency experience, small studio care
After graduating with a first-class honours degree in Graphic Design, I spent years working in design agencies on projects for all sorts of industries. Eventually, I realised I wanted to offer that high-quality design to smaller businesses — with a personal, collaborative approach that makes the whole process clearer and way more enjoyable.
I also wanted to create a career that gave me the flexibility to be around for my two young children, and that’s how my own business came to life. Like so many of my clients, I know first-hand what it’s like to juggle running a business alongside family life — and how important it is to have branding that works for you, helps you attract the right clients, and makes marketing yourself feel easier.
Still sharing the love for design today
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me back at the University of Staffordshire, but this time as a lecturer, sharing what I’ve learned over the years with the next generation of designers — and always picking up fresh inspiration along the way.
I’m also a bit of a typography geek, so whether I’ve ventured out from my quiet country life to a new city or I’m just out and about, I can’t help but notice beautiful signage, hand-painted lettering, or even the quirks of an old shopfront logo. That passion for the little details finds its way into every brand I create.
