HOW IT STARTED
Nicola Tonsager works with soul and spirit helping people who want to have a deeper connection to who they are, and really gain clarity about what matters to them, and why through aligning with her Soul Signatures®. She also supports people who are on a trance mediumship pathway. She is so talented in what she does and is a real professional.
She had some branding in place that she had had done a few years previously. At the time this branding had felt right but her work had changed over the last couple of years and she had developed hugely as a person, and her brand no longer fitted. It felt outdated and a little ‘twee’. The work Nic does is serious and she didn’t feel like her current branding was communicating this. So much so that she got to the point where she wasn’t actually using any of her branding - it felt so unlike her and felt totally misaligned to the work that she was doing and what she was bringing out into the world.
Her visual presence had become very inconsistent and confusing for potential clients. She didn’t feel confident in her branding - and was questioning how her clients could feel confident in it when she didn’t herself.
WHAT WE DID
After spending time really looking at what Nic and her brand were all about we created a whole new brand identity.
It was important for us to get across the balance of look clear and professional whilst also being warm, caring and nurtiring. Nic has such a lovely way of working with her clients - she’s so knowledgeable and can deliver everything in a calm, gentle manner. She really holds space for her clients and helps them whatever path or journey they are on.
We used a combination of modern serif and script fonts to communicate these values and show the personal connection and trust that are important to her brand. To echo this we used soothing colours of teal and peach shades.
We incorporated a triangular line icon into her identity making use of perspective to represent the expansion, progression and idea of her clients moving forward on their paths.
We created a logo suite so that she had flexibility in the application of her brand along with a whole suite of social graphics and templates and documents so that she could hit the ground running with her new branding.

WHAT DOES NICOLA SAY?
My branding is amazing! It is just everything that my work is and it is everything that I bring to the work that I do.

It is understated but clear - and I am not a shouter so understated was absolutely on the ball. But it is also warm, confident and inviting. I just love it.

It is a hugely reassuring thing to work with Alison - every single step of the process with her is hugely empowering. It’s reassuring, because I knew from the very first moment when I was filling in the workbooks, to give her everything she needed to really enable the branding to be on point, that she knew her stuff and had amazing experience and knowledge.
