HOW IT STARTED

Natasha Gulliford is a floral artist, designer and educator. For over a decade, she’s been helping brands create print collections that attract their ideal customers through the power of her hand-painted original artwork alongside educating other artists. She had reached a point where she felt that her brand wasn’t quite hitting the mark. While she liked the fun and playful energy of her existing identity, it felt a little junior and confused—full of different elements that made it harder to use consistently.

She needed a brand that would help her stand out and connect with the right people, especially in her B2B work with design clients. The goal was to create something polished and professional, but still modern, creative, and full of personality—something that would balance the two sides of her business seamlessly.

More than anything, she wanted her branding to feel aligned with who she really was, giving her the confidence to show up, pitch to agents, and take her business to the next level.

WHAT WE DID

We started by diving deep into what made Natasha’s brand unique. Through the strategy phase, it became clear that her love for vintage design was at the heart of her creative process—but it wasn’t yet reflected in her branding. This became a key part of the direction, bringing in subtle nods to classic design while keeping things fresh and contemporary.

A refined, minimal logo with the initial ‘n’ transforming into a brushstroke—symbolising the creative process.

A sophisticated colour palette and textures inspired by watercolour paper and paint bleeds—tiny details that deeply resonate with her industry.

A clean, editorial-inspired layout system, balancing simplicity with creativity—just like the high-end fashion magazines that inspired her vision.

Beyond the visual identity, we created everything she needed to confidently roll out her brand—from social templates and workbooks to website design and client presentations.
